Today we landed at Blomsterbugten, a remote and scenic bay in Greenland’s Northeast Greenland National Park. Stepping ashore from the expedition ship, we were greeted by a stark yet breathtaking landscape—rocky shores, colourful tundra, and towering mountains sculpted by glacial forces. This area, whose name means "Flower Bay," often surprises visitors with bursts of Arctic wildflowers during the short summer, providing a delicate contrast to the raw wilderness. A group of hikers ventured far and were fortunate enough to see some Arctic hares and musk oxen, while many of us who remained closer to the landing site also spotted our first lemming.
