After our morning landing, we sailed through the narrow passage of Franz Joseph Fjord, which leads to Nordfjord and the stunning 11 km-wide glacier. We lowered our zodiacs into the water and enjoyed a 60-minute cruise, getting closer to the icebergs and the glacier front. We also kept a lookout for wildlife and were occasionally visited by a couple of curious ringed seals near the boats.
