Our first landing in the national park greeted us with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. However, we could feel a definite drop in temperature, as it was noticeably colder than on previous days. In the morning, we took guided walks across the frozen tundra, keeping a lookout for wildlife such as snowy owls and musk oxen, which are known to inhabit the area.
