The ship avoided a storm in the Drake Passage, but the sea state on our journey north towards the Falkland Islands remained lively. A packed programme of onboard activities included lectures on Coastal Landscapes, Antarctic fisheries, and Women in Antarctica, as well as a workshop examining the bone clones in the Science Centre. We also traced the voyage so far on a map and recapped the wildlife seen in Antarctica, using photos taken by the Expedition Team. The wildlife watches produced sightings of four species of Albatross, along with an interesting variety of other seabirds.
