In the afternoon, we sailed over to Enterprise Island, just off Nansen Island, for a scenic hour of zodiac cruising. The zodiacs took us into Foyn Harbour, a sheltered bay rich in both history and atmosphere.

There, lying partially submerged and rusting in the icy waters, was the wreck of the Governor, a whaling factory ship destroyed by fire in 1915. The haunting remains of the ship stood as a stark reminder of Antarctica’s industrial past.

Along the rocky shoreline, Weddell Seals rested peacefully in the sun, undisturbed by our presence. The calm conditions and soft afternoon light made it a quiet, reflective outing—where both nature and history shared the stage.
