The beautiful town of Port Stanley was our next stop in the Falkland Islands. The weather was less kind to us on this day, as rain cascaded from a flint-tinged canopy of looming clouds. Nonetheless, guests were able to enjoy a guided community walk through the welcoming environs of the town, where they learned about the history and culture of the Falkland Islanders. Of particular interest were the rustic Christ Church Cathedral, the Jubilee Villas, and the lovingly curated Historic Dockyard Museum. We left Stanley in the afternoon in order to begin the next leg of our thrilling journey.
