As we arose on this morning, we were greeted by the glorious sight of a sapphire blue sky, illuminated by a fiercely burning sun. In the morning we visited Saunders Island, where guests were treated to the sight of King, Gentoo, Rockhopper, and Magellanic penguins. In the afternoon, we paid a visit to the island rather forebodingly named Carcass Island. Here, the sun continued to bathe us in warm rays, and guests took a walk to Leopard Beach on the other side of the bay, where Magellanic penguins dived and swam in the sparkling blue waters.
