After collecting the campers early in the morning, we sailed onwards to Neko Harbour. Here, guests marvelled at the stunning glaciers surrounding the harbour, the many icebergs, and a colony of Gentoo Penguins. In the afternoon, we collected a team from the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust at Port Lockroy Base. The team gave lectures on their mission for preserving Antarctic cultural history, and many guests visited their on board gift shop, where postcards could be mailed and rare souvenirs purchased. Guests also took part in a landing on the secluded Damoy Point.
