In the morning we visited the breath-taking St Andrew’s Bay. The expedition team provided a guided cruise around the bay in which guests were able to gaze upon an endless panorama of over 500,000 King Penguins, interspersed with groups of goliath elephant seals, and all set against the backdrop of an almighty blue glacier. In the afternoon, excitement remained high as we sailed into the stunning Drygalski Fjord. Guests stood outside on the ship’s bow and experienced awe-inspiring views of yet more glaciers and razor-sharp mountains which shimmered and shone in the sparkling sunlight.
