The waves did not settle in the morning, but the Captain promised that it would get calmer by the end of the day. We were all wishing for a smooth ocean! Luckily, the Captain’s word holds, and the sea calms down quite a bit. By the time we reach Iceland, it is all but a vague memory. Has Greenland actually happened? What comes next? And what year is it? These are the best kind of emotions to have at the end of a trip; cherish them! The captain and expedition team bid us farewell in the evening, and we know that it’s truly time to say goodbye.
