Today our ship eased into the unusually calm waters of the North Sea on its way towards Norway. The gentle swell made the crossing feel almost effortless, allowing guests to linger out on deck for hours, watching seabirds glide alongside the ship and scanning the horizon during wildlife watches led by the Expedition Team.
Throughout the day, guests gathered in the lecture hall for engaging talks and in the Science Centre for workshops and discovery sessions. As evening approached, everyone assembled for the Captain’s Welcome, where we raised our glasses for a toast as the ship continued northward through the calm and shining waters.
