Orne Harbour in the morning was something nobody had expected. The expedition team tried to give us a landing, but there was too little snow for it to be safe, so we did zodiac cruising instead. The navigation was with strong wind, but it was so much worth it, since never ever had we seen so many whales in every single direction. Blows and flukes left and right, and penguins jumping on top of the small icefloes and small icebergs⦠it was indeed a highlight in our voyage. After lunch we stopped at Chiriguano Bay and many of us took a deep breath and jumped into the freezing waters from the ship for our polar plunge. The logistics were so smooth and the feeling was so exciting and invigorating!
