This was by far the most glorious sunrise we could have asked for, since it was while we were navigating the most spectacular passage in the Antarctic: the Lemaire Channel. It was unbelievable how narrow the passage is and how steel the walls of rock and solid ice are. Afterwards we had cruising and landing at Planeau Island which truly took everyone’s breath away. To finish the day, we made it all the way back to the Lemaire Channel and repeated the experience, which felt surprisingly fresh, since all the lighting was different. This is a passage we will never forget.
