Charlotte Bay welcomed us with many icebergs in a wide variety of shapes. While cruising in the Zodiac, with a little luck we saw gentoo penguins taking a break on drifting icebergs and crabeater seals also resting on the ice. We used the long hours in this bay to soak up the spirit of Antarctica once again. We were grateful to have been able to take a small step into this world so devoid of people.
