Patagonia was incredibly kind to us since the seas were calm enough to allow a rare landing at Cape Horn on this special day. For much of the day, we felt warm under the hot sun after reaching the coast and climbing to the upper part of the island. There we saw the albatross monument that overlooks the southernmost point of the island, Cape Horn. We also met the Chilean family who lives in the lighthouse on the island.
