We entered Beagle Channel and then followed a long fjord that led us to the Garibaldi Glacier. From our ship, we could see this broad glacier revealing its intense blue ice, which often remains hidden from view. Then we returned to Beagle Channel, and the sun warmed our faces as we approached the Pia Glacier in our small expedition boats. We navigated through brash ice and small ice pieces, filled with awe at this natural wonder. Back in the Beagle Channel, we could see a series of glaciers sliding down toward the channel, an area commonly known as Glacier Alley.
