Our day began with a morning wildlife watch from the bow. We then attended informative sessions, including a lecture on the science of sound in the Arctic Ocean and a hands-on class about minerals. We also contributed to citizen science through the NASA GLOBE Cloud Observer project. The afternoon was highlighted by our landing at Sundneset, where some of us went on an extended hike. In the evening, we learned about the next day’s plans before attending a charity auction for the HX Foundation. The day finished with live music from the Seasickness Band.
