After repositioning the ship during lunch, we returned to the water for an afternoon of zodiac cruising in the calm, sheltered reaches of Paradise Harbour, near Leith Cove. With clear skies and mirror-like seas, conditions couldn’t have been better—and neither could the wildlife encounters.

Each zodiac had unforgettable close-up views of Humpback Whales, surfacing just meters away. The stillness of the bay, interrupted only by the sound of whale blows and flukes hitting the water, made for a truly magical experience. As evening approached, thirty of our guests were dropped off for a night of camping on the island at Leith Cove. With a sky full of stars and barely a breath of wind, it was the perfect end to a perfect day for everyone on board too.
