West Point! We had an amazing visit to West Point. This small island is managed by a couple of lovely people who hosted us during our landing. After a great hike across the island, we reached a spectacular place – Devil’s Nose. This cliff, above the ocean, which on that day was full of spectacular large waves - was home to thousands of pairs of nesting Black-browed albatrosses and rockhopper penguins. What spectacular birds! At the end of our hike, we were treated with hot tea and great cakes. A marvellous day.
