Today, we were meant to reach Maniitsoq. But this time, the heavy fog does not want to lift and is accompanied by rain and swell. The captain deems it too risky to dock with our tenders at the small fishing town's fragile wooden dock, concerned we may not be able to sail back out. By late afternoon, the fog again opens up and reveals white peaks, sun-tinged snow on the hillsides and a beautiful sunset around midnight.
