We arrived in Douglas, Isle of Man, a quaint island measuring 48 km long and 16 km wide. Our first stop was the Nature and Birdwatching excursion. Next we visited Cregneash, a long and isolated village where we immersed ourselves in the traditional customs of the island. Next, we embarked on a ride aboard a 150-year-old Victorian Steam Train. The TT trike experience proved to be quite unforgettable. The Beach Buddies volunteers received help to some of us to do beach clean up close to Castletown. We completed our day in Douglas with a walk to the Lighthouse in the company of our activity guides and a walk to the Manx Museum with our historian.
