Our first day in South Georgia was characterised by an abundance of wonderful wildlife. In the morning, guests were treated to a small-boat cruising in the stunning Possession Bay. Fur Seals and King Penguins were the stars of this morning. In the afternoon, we continued to Prince Olaf Harbour, where the expedition team provided a second small-boat cruising. Here, guests set eyes upon the eery remains of the whaling station, complete with the wreck of Brutus. In the evening, we were even able to pass by Salisbury Plain, the second largest penguin colony in South Georgia!
