Now, we have come to a special town indeed. Sisimiut is well-loved by guests and expedition staff for its picturesque buildings, town centre and nice shopping arrangements. You can go on a cultural walk, a nice hike, or just explore the town on your own. The craft market is a highlight because it shows you the ancient bone-working tradition of the Greenlanders. In the museum area, you find the history of both the settlers and the Inuit and how they have intertwined as well as separated from one another over the last 300 years. However, the best part is the beautiful concert we are invited to participate in. That voice becomes intertwined with our memory for the rest of the trip.
