Our last settlement for the trip. How time has flown by. However, the amazing weather conditions hold, and we are again basked in sunlight. Very knowledgeable local guides interpret the remains of an ancient cathedral, and it is not hard to imagine Norse settlers coming here a thousand years ago, especially on a day like this. With a heavy heart, we go back in our zodiacs, and we see the small settlement disappearing in the distance. Will we ever see such places again?
