After 2 relatively calm sea days filled with on board program and activities, we all finally got to set food on land again in Peru. We took out our zodiacs and tendered our guests to a jetty in the seaside - surf town of Mancora. Many were booked on the included excursion which was a pass to one of the beautiful resorts where one could relax, go for a swim, try some surfing, and enjoy a complimentary pisco sour (or two). Many guests decided to just wonder around in Mancora by themselves. Another large group went on whale watching safaris in the bay which proved to be quite a show.
