Kirkwall is the largest town in Orkney, an archipelago to the north of mainland Scotland. Today, we visited the ancient sites of Skara Brae, Skaill House, and the Ring of Brodgar. We explored Kirkwall on foot and also hiked to the top of Wideford Hill, where the view was breathtaking. Additionally, we ventured inside a Neolithic chambered cairn, which provided an unforgettable experience.
