We knew the sunshine would not last forever. Curtains of fog came and went, hiding the landscape and bringing an eerie vibe to our landing. Walking through a broad sand beach that dissolved into a muddy stretch, we arrived at the whale skeleton. Closer to the landing site, we came upon the cultural remains of a campsite once used for hunting and fishing.
