Gliding through the enormous number of icebergs, we arrived in the icy town of Ilulissat. Once ashore, we made our way by shuttle through the town seeing the characteristic, colourful Greenlandic houses. Driving past the outskirts which belonged to the sled dogs, we arrived at the Ice Fjord Center which contained an impressive movie depicting the ice and many exhibits of Inuit art and culture. Along a wooden boardwalk, we arrived at the viewpoint of the majestic Kangia ice fjord, the views were extraordinary, with icebergs stretching to the horizon.
