We arrived at the bustling lumber port of Klawock early in the morning. With a slight delay, we were able to get everyone ashore and on their respective tours exploring Prince of Wales Island. The Łingít and Haida peoples of Klawock and Craig welcomed us and shared stories of their families from times past and present. The beautiful totem park told stories of community and perseverance through hard times, bringing back to life tales from a more mystical time.
