During the morning wildlife watch our first humpback whales were spotted at the same time ducks, geese, cormorants, and loons were streaming past us. Entering Icy Bay, the three massive glacier fronts came into sight as we sailed in through the brash ice. The Zodiac cruises took our guests to a landing on a beach surrounded by waterfalls fuelled by the melting snow on the mountaintops. Guests walked across streams and between large pieces of stranded ice, all the way to the other side of the beach where they met the Zodiac for more cruising in the ice.
