Valdez delivered a wonderful day of adventures. Guests spread out across town for excursions, museum visits, and even an airshow where planes competed to take off and land in the shortest possible distance of runway. Some keen birders made their way along the coast to mark the Global Big Day of 2026, recording a fine selection of ducks, shorebirds, and eagles for e-Bird. As we made our way towards the next day's adventure, the crew band played on into the bright spring night.
