We awoke at the entrance to Pia Fjord in the Beagle Channel and sailed toward the glacier. The scale and stark grandeur of the Darwin Range and its icefield overlooking the fjord made a strong impression on guests.

Once in position, the Expedition Team offered two activities: a landing at Pia Glacier and a Zodiac cruise to Porter Glacier. Both provided excellent perspectives on the landscape and showcased the dramatic glacial environment at its best.
