Our second day at sea continued across the Drake Passage, with a full schedule of preparations for our arrival in Antarctica. We attended the mandatory IAATO briefing, learning about guidelines for responsible and safe visits to the region. Later, we received our rubber boots, essential gear for upcoming landings. The day also included a fascinating lecture on the discovery of Antarctica, along with engaging science sessions. In quieter moments, we decorated our refillable bottles, adding a personal touch ahead of the adventures to come.
