Today we had truly authentic Antarctic weather in the morning. Our expedition boat navigation started with rough weather, strong wind, and some rain, and unfortunately, it soon became too dangerous. The Expedition Team decided to cancel the operation to keep everyone safe.
In the afternoon we made a landing at Damoy Point, which gave us better weather. Our guests got to see see the British Antarctic Survey hut where scientists used to wait out storms before they were transferred to the Antarctic plains. The landscape was truly impressive, and the penguins, as cute as ever!
