In the afternoon we landed on Petermann Island, stepping onto the Antarctic shore for the first time. Some joined a sea kayaking adventure, paddling along the icy waters and taking in the dramatic scenery from a new perspective. On land, we explored among the gentoo penguins and watched fur seals as they rested nearby. The crisp air, towering cliffs, and active wildlife made this landing quite extraordinary.
