We made our first landing in Antarctica, stepping ashore at Damoy Point – an unforgettable milestone marked not only by setting foot on the White Continent, but also by our first true embrace of the unmistakable aroma of a bustling gentoo colony! Curious penguin 'teenagers' inspected us with the confidence of locals who clearly run the place, and who also have absolutely no concept of personal space!

Between wildlife watching and onboard sessions – from NASA GLOBE Citizen Science cloud observations and storytelling to Whale identification and polar lectures – helped our guests understand what makes Antarctica such a truly unique and dynamic place.
