Tomski surprised us with a landing south of the Lemaire Channel, and we went ashore at Petermann Island, which is connected to a French Expedition led by Charcot. We were lucky again with the weather and arrived in pure sunshine! Here we saw Adélie penguins and many young gentoo penguins, which have been very funny to observe. A wonderful last day in Antarctica.
