Today the sea confronted us with up to 9m waves, and our guests truly deserved their seafarer certificates! It was a day of rest and recharge, while still enjoying a variety of onboard activities which built even more excitement for Antarctica. Our guests learned about Antarctic ecology by our Geologist Lois and learned a lot about penguins from our Ornithologist Julia. Everyone took great care in cleaning their boots and clothes ahead of the next landing, and many joined the kayak briefing.
