We began the day early close to Stokmarknes, where we headed out once more into the winter landscape. This time, we set off on a short expedition boat ride toward the end of Lonkanfjord, where ice had gathered and the morning light slowly revealed the surrounding mountains.

From there, guests disembarked on a white sand beach on Sandøya, a beautiful and peaceful spot for our final landing in Arctic Norway. With no set routes, they roamed freely, taking in the stillness and watching the sunrise reflect off the snowy peaks around them. A last bonfire awaited them on shore, where they enjoyed warm sausages and shared quiet moments together. Some seized the opportunity for one final polar plunge, embracing the cold as a fitting end to their outdoor adventures.

With this landing, we said goodbye to Arctic Norway and began our journey back toward Tromsø. Along the way, we were treated to another beautiful sunset, followed by yet more Northern Lights, dancing across the sky as if offering a final farewell.

Later in the evening, after dinner, we gathered with the Captain to raise a glass —celebrating an unforgettable journey, shared experiences, and the many moments that had made this winter expedition so special.
