On our third day, we woke up with Tranøya ahead of us, ready for another winter adventure. With calm conditions and classic northern winter weather, we headed ashore to visit a beautifully preserved traditional Norwegian farm, a place that felt like stepping into another era.

We were warmly greeted by the owners, who invited us to explore their property and shared stories of life here in the past. Inside the small church, we heard tales from another time, gaining a glimpse into the history and heritage of this remote community. Outside, a bonfire awaited us, where our guests enjoyed cinnamon buns and mulled wine, a perfect way to warm up in the crisp Arctic air.

Some guests took the opportunity to join a snowshoe walk, venturing further into the snowy landscape, while others headed out for kayaking, enjoying the quiet waters and the surrounding winter scenery from a different perspective. With clear skies, calm conditions, and a mix of culture and outdoor adventure, Tranøya offered our guests a memorable day and another wonderful chapter in their winter expedition through Northern Norway.

Later that night, the sky delivered an unforgettable spectacle. The Northern Lights appeared with remarkable intensity, filling the sky with vivid greens and dynamic movement. The aurora danced overhead for quite a while, drawing us outside to watch in awe. It was one of the strongest displays of the trip, a powerful and emotional moment that perfectly crowned a day rich in history, warmth, and shared experiences.
