During lunchtime, the ship repositioned to Dorian Bay at Damoy Point, where the team organised another session of double operations, including cruising and a landing. During the cruise, in choppy conditions, several seals were spotted hauled out on ice floes, while penguins shot through the water and called out to one another. It was good to get ashore at Dorian Bay and stretch our legs on a long circuit around Damoy Point, including a visit to the hut that once served as a depot for the British Antarctic Survey. Gentoo penguins watched us idly as we walked around the landing site.
