In the afternoon we landed in Stromness and had the chance to visit the place were Shackleton arrived after his first crossing of the South Georgia mountain range. There was a chance to see fur seals, elephant seal amongst other fauna. Some of us joined the hike to the waterfall into the valleys. This waterfall was the one Shackleton descended before arriving in Stromness. This day in South Georgia was filled with natural wonders, historical insights, and shared experiences that we'll cherish for years to come.
