We started with a small boat cruise at Smeerenburgbreen, taking in the impressive glacier scenery and Arctic surroundings. Afterward, we landed at Magdalenefjorden, exploring its landscape and historic sites as boat groups rotated ashore. Later, participants joined science boat trips and a kayak adventure, which offered fresh perspectives from the water. A polar plunge provided an exhilarating challenge for many. Onboard, a lecture about glaciers expanded our understanding of these rivers of ice, while evening events like a charity auction and band night rounded out a memorable expedition day.
