On our final day of the expedition we stopped off at the small settlement of Itilleq where we were welcomed into many homes. The settlement had arranged a Kaffemik for us all. This is a traditional event where people are welcomed into homes for food and hot drinks. This was followed by an epic battle on the football field. The final match of the season Itilleq vs MS Fridtjof Nansen. A mixed team of guests and crew faced off against the settlement. Finally the game ended in a 2-2 draw before we were waved off as the ship sailed south to Nuuk.
