This morning greeted us with low-hanging clouds and calm conditions—perfect for our first landing of the day. We made our way ashore in the area of the old Lloyd Hotel in Möllerfjorden, a site steeped in history and embraced by a rugged, serene landscape.

We enjoyed a wide perimeter landing that allowed us to spread out and take in the surroundings at our own pace. One of the highlights came as we reached the shoreline: just meters away, a group of five harbour seals rested quietly on the rocks, offering a remarkable and peaceful wildlife encounter.

At the same time, we launched our first group of kayakers for the trip. Paddling through the still waters of the fjord, they experienced the quiet beauty of the Arctic from water level—gliding past floating ice and under dramatic cliffs, with seabirds soaring overhead.

A memorable morning, combining wildlife, history, and exploration.
