This morning, under calm skies and gentle weather, we approached the harbour of Reykjavík, marking the end of our incredible journey. As the city’s colourful buildings and distant mountains came into view, there was a quiet sense of reflection on board — a mix of joy for all we had experienced and a touch of melancholy knowing it was time to say goodbye.
Over the past days, we had ventured across some of the Arctic’s most remote and captivating destinations: from the wild beauty of Svalbard, through the isolated volcanic slopes of Jan Mayen, into the dramatic fjords and icy wonderlands of East Greenland, and finally to the charming coasts of Iceland. We shared encounters with wildlife, navigated among towering icebergs, walked through places steeped in history, and stood in awe before landscapes few ever get to see.
Disembarking in Reykjavík, we carried with us not only the photographs and souvenirs but also the memories of the moments that made this voyage truly special — the laughter, the friendships, and the feeling of having explored together some of the world’s last great wildernesses.
