We arrived at our first community in the North. Nestled at the base of a little auk colony this small community welcomed us in with local guided hikes and zodiac excursions whilst they opened their doors to us and gave a glimpse into life in the High Arctic. We started our day with some zodiac cruising around icebergs and the little auk colony. Thousands of birds flying around as they fly back and forth to their nests, hurriedly feeding their chicks before winter arrives.
