This morning, we arrived at Bambsebu under perfect conditions for our last landing of the voyage. The Expedition Team, as usual, greeted us on the beach, and from there we set off to explore one final time.

Some of us visited the old cabin, others walked to the cairn, while a few stopped to observe the beluga bones scattered along the shore—silent remnants of the past. We were even lucky enough to spot a couple of bearded seals, who paid us a visit near the landing site.

In the distance, small white dots moved slowly across the landscape: a group of reindeer, calmly enjoying the warmth of the Arctic morning. Further along the horizon, we could just make out a line of people—our hikers!—once again stepping beyond the perimeter, guided by Carlos and Maria, making the most of this final chance to explore. Perfect conditions for our final landing, even though one last activity still lay ahead.
