We managed a memorable landing at Phippsøya, enjoying a scenic cruise through the slush ice that set a striking Arctic atmosphere. Later, we visited Chermsideøya, where the weather was fantastic and conditions were ideal for exploring. On the beach, we discovered historic stone graffiti—names and dates carefully arranged with stones, telling stories from past expeditions. This unique cultural feature added a sense of connection to the explorers who came before us. The day’s experiences highlighted the region’s natural beauty and rich history, leaving us with a strong sense of accomplishment and appreciation for the High Arctic.
