For any guests who booked this voyage specifically for the glaciers, today exceeded every expectation. We sailed towards the main glacier of this spectacular fjord – and there were many to choose from – before heading out in our zodiac boats for a moment of glacier contemplation. But what we witnessed went far beyond anything we could have imagined. It felt like stepping into a nature documentary: the glacier was constantly roaring and calving, with both small and large chunks of ice breaking away before our eyes. As the waves reached our boats, it gave the experience an incredibly raw and genuine feeling. This day will undoubtedly stand out as a highlight for us all.
